Has anyone heard it? I heard some tracks yesterday and I have to say It is pretty meh. A few years ago AllmusicReviews mattered but then I remember they gave Justin Beiber a freaking 4/5 in one of his "albums" and they gave Sad Wings of Destiny a 4 as well? Er? Any metal heads here? Old Maiden fans? Is the album any good?

EDIT/

Geez, I just heard it all. Maybe I am being too critical but jesus are the songs long and boring. The vocals are outplayed and oh so similar(nevermind the "build up" in some my god I am disappoint.) This is not as bad as Judas Priest's Nostradamus though. As a long Iron Maiden fan I would have to say good try but it really is their worst album yet. (hopefully their last if they plan on releasing more shit like this) Seriously these guys should just call it a day. The album is an illusion when you first hear half of each song it tries to be (Seventh Son of a Seventh Son) and then it downright gives you a bitter taste. Bruce is not singing, not telling a story either he is just giving you a headache a melodramatic bullshit that would make the debut album's comical style look serious. They didn't make anything new and it tried to be old Maiden and FAILED. The reviewers in the metal world are giving it a much praise which I find pretty confusing considering this is the worst Metal album of 2010 (so far)

The best songs in the album

It's alright but I would say Brave New World and Dance of Death are the only truly good albums of their newer work. They tend to have a handful of tracks per release that I can hardly listen to.

As far as 2010 metal is concerned... Blind Guardian - At The Edge Of Time and Soilwork - The Panic Broadcast are regular plays for me.
