This and HS look really hot. Action was pretty hectic in the trailer too.

Genji 2 looks like crap on the other hand.

These shots are all relativley underwhelming. $499 for a crippled version($599 for the proper) and waiting who knows how long for a release, gets you games that don't seem to look any better than the 360 and certainly a step below from where a PC will be. Maybe where top notch PCs already are.

I don't know...I wasn't too impressed with this. It was like Call of Duty meets Half-Life 2 aliens.

8 Days on the other hand looked hawt!

It seems like Sony has decided that the best way to make a halo killer is to steal as much from it as possible. The whole alien invasion on Earth is what every halo fanboy wanted for halo 2. Plus, it seems that one of the triggers throws grenades based on the footage.

Did anyone else feel like all the guns looked exactly the same?

I don't know about this... Really, when it comes to an FPS, I usually have to play it before passing judgement. Well crafted FPS games are rare, but when you find it you have friggin gold. Halo, Half-life 2, these are two games that I'll never forget. If they can accomplish the sort of stuff that Halo and HL2 did, then it'll be hot. If it's just another generic FPS, it'll be worthless.

You're kidding, right? Alien invasions are only the relm of Bungie now? That plot is so hackneyed, I find your stance on that bizzare, to say the least. And the controller thing? Come on.

My initial impression of this was that it looks pretty neat. But by the time I got to the last screenshot I was ho-humming.

I like it, looks dark and WW2 like.
I might buy a PS3.... most Xbox 360 killer apps are on the PC also, but the PS3 might have some great exclusives!

This one will be good. If they're going to take on MS on every front, solid console FPS are a necessity.

I think the Bungie-bots are just scared that a PS3 game might actually do a good job of representing a pitched battle to stop the invasion of earth, without blasting off to yet again fight retarded space zombies.

I just hope Insomniac is given breathing room on this and R&C. If Sony starts flogging them to ship early, the results could be disappointing.

This is Insomniac? I have so much respect for what they did with R&C that their name alone makes me raise an eyebrow at whatever they do. I'm still not particularly interested in any console FPS's, but this might be something to keep an eye on.

Well halo copied plenty from other games, are you saying that other companys shouldnt make games that they think are cool because they may be similar to other games in some aspects?
Besides halo seems to be cartoonie and slightly comical, this looks darker and more serious.

Not really, also it looks like the assualt rifle he's carrying has a wooden stock


I think this looks pretty nice, but I doubt I'll be buying it.
