Guitar Hero 2 - E3 Tracks

1UP (http://1up.com/) posted news of the upcoming tracks for Guitar Hero 2 (http://1up.com/do/newsStory?cId=3150362) that are going to be shown off at E3. Yes, this is a day or so old but we're playing catch up.

Seven songs in total will be playable at E3, and they are:
Drist - "Arterial Black"
The Reverend Horton Heat - "Psychobilly Freakout"
KISS - "Strutter"
Black Sabbath - "War Pigs"
The Butthole Surfers - "Who Was in My Room Last Night"
The Kinks (the Van Halen version) - "You Really Got Me"
And... RUSH - "YYZ"
Rush? Hell, yeah! Now, I need to get off off my butt and buy this when it comes out.

The Reverend Horton Heat has just guaranteed my purchase of this game. Also glad to see Butthole Surfers on there. could care less about the rest.

The lesser known stuff is probably easier to get the licensing to, so they're locked down earlier, thus being available to be shown at E3.

yeah I only knew of a couple of them too, so i checked the others out.

reverend horton heat is freaking awesome. and that song is a perfect choice for guitar hero. check out their song cowboy love on http://www.reverendhortonheat.com. it predates brokeback mountain by 5 years or so too i believe.

Overall that song list makes me think gh2 will rock harder than ever.

i imagine gh2 will go like gh 1, if you TELL me the track name i might look at you funny, but once the song gets going, its nothing but fun. for me, if i didnt recognize the song name, in gh1 i at least recognized the band, and that was good enough for me
