Is it just me or is the new site a lot faster? We haven't seen a high traffic day yet, but it does seem to be quite spry.

Earlier in the night it was zipping along with like 1000 connections. It has been hovering at more than 600 all night.

I can't wait to get our last couple of site problems ironed out so I can see the server stats.

(Oh, and I don't want to labor the point, but the new site is twice as expensive as the old page, so if you want to donate (http://www.evilavatar.com/forums/subscriptions.php?) now toward our upcoming hosting costs in September, that would be great. I'm going to try paying for a whole year in September.)

It is definately a lot faster. It's even pretty speedy on this satellite connection that we have at work, so that's saying something.

On the site problem side of things, is there something up with the e-mail notification on threads? I haven't received a single e-mail for any of the threads that have been updated since the site came back on. Even the new threads seem to be lacking in e-mail notifications of new posts.
