Good Morning! (And if I don't see you: Good Afternoon, Good evening and Goodnight.)

I just noticed that we had 54 Subscribers whose Subscription expired on April 25th - only six months after they donated to the page. I thought all donations above $5.00 were set for one year, so I'm going to fix those 54 accounts right now adding another full year of time to their donation status.

Anyone who donates $5.00 to the page is also entitled to a one year Subscriber status - and I will add six more months to their Subscription after they get the annoying nag E-mail telling them that their Subscription is about to expire. (Hey, I gotta nag a little, right?)

The $50.00 donation is set for 2 years and the $100.00 donation (all eight of you) is set for 5 years, but that is really a lifetime donation.

I stopped paying attention to the subscription times since the first time I confused myself with it. (I think I was drunk when reading about it) I just drop a donation from time to time. So far, so good. I don't expire for a while yet. :)

A custom title and a different color name. We call it a Subscription so that people don't think that their donation is tax deductable, but it is really just a donation to help us cover hosting costs, which runs like $750.00 every six months.

I also run into a lot of other costs like postage and free games for all the volunteer staff members.

Oooh. My name is orange. While it's a nice status symbol. I want to see this site as a community succeed. I mean look at where it's come: podcasts, comics, intelligent discussion, etc.

I look at other gaming sites and can't stand the comments anywhere. The threads here are almost all a good read.

Heck, that's been my experience for the last few months, it seems. Whenever I finally get Baby Spig to have a nap, I come in the computer room with the intent to play some Oblivion or something and the next thing I know I've spent all my time EvAving and he's awake again, with nary a stitch of gaming accomplished.
