Hi guys,

I'm moving in a couple of weeks and I've been going through my stuff and I found something I'd totally forgotten that I own. It's an original G1 Transformers action figure from 1987 still in the blister pack and everything. It's not one of those remakes either, it's the real deal from 22 years ago. The problem is that I have no idea what this thing is worth, and I have no idea where to go to find out. I tried Googling it and looking around but I'm not finding a damn thing, and I can't even figure out how to determine what "grade" it is in terms of condition. The name of the toy is "Triggercon Decepticon Ruckus".

Anyone have any ideas or info?

These guys have some information on their website about price guides and even some info about determining what condition your toy is in

If you're lucky enough to have a comic book shop in your neighborhood you could probably drop by one and sneak a peak at one of the collectibles price guides and try and determine a price that way. You could be looking at a couple of hundred bucks, so it might be worth the effort to determine the price.

Look on Ebay I'd say.

Thanks for the advice guys, I'm going to see if I can figure out just how much this thing is worth. I saw someone's selling one from the same line for 350 dollars and I thought that couldn't possibly be right, but maybe it is.

You'd be amazed at what people will spend to recapture their childhood.

Well I put it up for more than I think it's worth, 200 bucks, so we'll see if anyone on ebay responds. If so, hello Kindle!
