Good god. What can that company have been thinking? These screenshots make this game look like ass! Don't companies realize that they are supposed to HELP sales of the game? That is real incompetence.

That second shot is pure cheddar.

The screens are psychedelic cus the battle takes place in limbo or whatever it is. It's ghost vs skeleton goodness.

It's a departure from vanilla B&W2, call it a throwback to traditional high fantasy.

I haven't been this not exited since B&W 2.

I tried to play B&W2. After about three hours, it still felt like I was in the tutorial. Almost every time I'd try to do something, those two morons would appear and exchange terrible dialog for a couple of minutes. Then they'd hold my hand, pat my bum, and watch me throw a rock or whatever task they're having me do.

And now they're releasing an expansion?

This game doesn't need an expansion. It needs a large metal container which can contain every copy ever made, and then be dropped to the bottom of the ocean.

I say we put the Moly-monster in too... He can hang out with Cthulhu or something. Better than he be eaten by the hybrid children than to be aloud at the head of another game studio.

I feel pity for the worshipers of the these 2 gods. It must be like worshiping Urkle.
Sure he can smite you and all, but geez. . . do you really want to be caught praying to that?

Bah... I stand by my Molyneux love... he's only produced two titles which dissapointed me and only one of those I would legitimately call bad; Fable & B&W2 (the latter being what I would call a bad game). I loved the original B&W but the sequel... Eugh... it was horrid.

Praise the maker he made The Movies or all faith would have been lost. :D

Black n white was crap, the sequel was more crap, and the expansion sounds like an extra helping o crap for the people who liked all the other crap.

PASS!!!!!

I think Peter should know that his game, Black and White, I bought for 50 bucks on release day. The crushing disappointment from that purchase sent me off on a downward spiral of piracy and rentals which, ultimately, led to console-only gaming... if at all.

With me alone, Peter has cost the video game industry thousands of dollars.

I know it is cool to hate Molyneux but is it also cool to ignore gaming history and the impace the man has had on it?

Let us take a gurnsey at the man's past credits shall we?

Populous 2

Magic Carpet
High Octane
Syndicate Wars
Dungeon Keeper
Black & White
Fable
Black & White II
The Movies

I've bolded the three titles that the gaming public at large has given the finger. It is a very small part of a fairly impressive career IMO.

The non-hardcore gamers I know really enjoyed B&W2 and Fable. I really enjoyed Fable (didn't really get on with B&W2 though...), I think there is a lot of unjustified bandwagon hating going on.

I like my developers to be excited about what they produce, if it means that they over-hype their games a bit, then I can deal with that. Who relies on the person who makes the game to form their opinion on it anyway?
