Is it just me or are the players in that screeny way too small?

That is not football. They don't kick the ball across the field. They don't even use a ball, as a ball is round. They should call it handsphere or whatever.

Nobody and I mean not a single person, dog or bag gives a shit about US football (armored rugby) outside of the US.

Meanwhile *billions* of people around the world care about real football and are pretty pumped up for 2006 World Cup !!!

Go Poland, wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

Ah, the sport that America invented, which caught on in absolutely no other countries. Soccer however remains the most popular sport in the world :)

Wait, Borys, Poland is in? I remember during the Olympics U.S. and Poland played. I was secretly routing for Poland to win (which they did).

I've always enjoyed (real) football - it's the only sport that I can really stand. I wish it was more popular in America so that you could actually catch a game every now and then.

I love how everyone outside of the us gets so offensive/defensesive about american football and the nomenclature involved. Do I give a fuck? NO! I still like football, american football. Its a joke, relax, you can have my portion of soccer if you want it.

Wow, great. Everytime someone gets the chance to America bash, they do so. You guys are freaking ultra pitiful. How about you discuss the videogame instead of participating in a ignorant tirade? Are all Europeans as snotty and as full of themselves as you haters?

I've never understood the hostily people outside the US have towards American football. Plenty of people play and enjoy soccer in the US.

Perhaps its because there are a large group of American's who realize how boring most soccer matches are to watch and the rest of the world is just too damn proud of the sport to admit that they may be right. ;)

Yay NASCAR!!!! WOOOOOO!

The only time I watch football is the World Cup, don't really have a favorite team, so I don't really care that much about Belgium not qualifying. Same thing happens with the Superbowl, although I watch that just to fall asleep.

American football is that much better. Kick-Run-10 minute break-kick-run-15 minute break-etc

Hey, still better than 20 minutes of the same 2 guys passing the ball back and forth, 15 seconds of someone trying to score, and then another 20 minutes of a different pair of guys passing the ball back and forth. ;)

I think in 1998 EA released 3 FIFA games, Road to the world cup, world cup, and regular fifa. So they have a bit more to go to match or beat that.

Hey, dont't knock it - Jake Delhomme grew in stature in that league and came back to be a Superbowl QB!

the us sports have a lot of developmental leagues overseas in almost every sport there is. It is nice to see the nba talent of overseas players finally going up, those guys are ballers.

I will give this game a shot. What I'm missing about soccer games is a mode for penalty shootouts right away. Super Soccer on SNES had it. Why not these?

Go Croatia!!!

I'll settle this silly matter once and for all:

Real football (soccer) players are HOT. Really, really HOT.

American football players are mostly rednecks, at least from what I've seen. Sure a few of them (Favre) are good looking, but mostly they are just not attractive.

Hence, real football (soccer) wins!

Now that that's settled, you can all go back to arguing over whether or not it's okay to be fat, whether the PSP or the DS is better, and whether or not the Xbox really sucks as hard as Borys thinks it does. :p
