Many users knew this already, that I would soon do that because really I don't know why. :p I think I told Anenome the full story already/this thread was meant for laughs and that is something your tight wad would never understand. I think Chimpbot's point is philosophic, that we should all try to make the world a better place in our own unique sphere's of influence. It's the attitude of an adult, certainly, as it is selfish and the defining characteristic of children is selfishness. I certainly agree with it, but it's a philosophy that makes you take umbrage at those embracing the opposite ideal.

Personally I've never trolled any site and can't truly understand the urge to. But I know some people just love being the lightening rod of attention. And I don't think you're doing anything horrible, just annoying.

Personally I just take a break and cut back on posting while the other moron(s) keeps digging his own grave. Why do you think I stopped replying to many of your posts? ;) Other times I'll find some common ground with the individual and lurk a while, coming in to support their views when others pile on them so they understand there's respect involved even when we disagree (Teecakes is a good example). Straight up nonsense and ranting has no class at all. Even when they are losing, always keep them grinning. When things cease to be entertaining, then it's just an eyesore and like good parents, mods would rather put both offenders on time out than listen about who started what.

I also agree that it should always be about the information first and foremost.

Part of my reaction is personal, as silly as it is. Like I mentioned before, I was one of the three admins for the Earth's Special Forces Half-life mod forum. It was one of the two prominent DBZ-based mods in the middle of the DBZ craze.
I dealt with my fair share of trolls during my tenure there.
Seeing the premeditated thoughts of one such annoying, random troll just brought it all back to me. My kneejerk reaction was to hate you and the bands you like.

Most see to it that I'm banned. A few kind of PM back and fourth telling me it's wrong but it's a bit obvious they enjoy the idea, so it kind of goes on for a bit until they stop because I obviously have contact info of their church members. I dont troll them that far though, only 1 on 1.
