It looks like Burger King is looking to make an affordable trio of games for Xbox and Xbox 360 to sell for an affordable price at a Burger King near you.
Kotaku.com was tipped off to a survey indicating that they were considering making three games (in fighting, action, and racing varieties) for said systems for about $4 each.
More details at the link, including a tidbit about a BK Kids Dance Dance Revolution promotion.

Be sure to eat a Whopper while playing, or you won't get the full game experience.

I remember when Taco Bell did this with the 'kids meals'. except those games were on floppy disks, and they all had something to do with tacos.

why not just include these with the kiddie meals?

I suggest their first title be a survival horror themed game, something in the vein of Resident Evil: Nemesis where Nemesis would be the creepy ass, plastic masked King chasing ya around.

I hate the king. With a passion. An unbridalled (sp?) passion known only to me in one other form: video games.
*shudders* The king is creepy.

The problem is, once I've finished my burger and go home (Or take the burger home and eat it there), I pretty much don't want to see anything related to food. The prospect of playing a game that is based around food (And fast food, at that) isn't very exhilirating.
And how the hell are they going to make money off games that are $4 each? Especially Xbox 360, heh... oh, wait, you might get easy achievements and points and even gamertag pictures and themes, oh joy! Burger King on my blades!
Too bad for them I don't own a 360. Or live in the US.
And they say western gaming can compete with Japan.

Didn't McDonald's have a NES game? And exactly what kind of graphics do you think $4 will buy on the 360?

Yes, they did. Though it was designed by a "garage" programmer on his own, McDonalds then paid to have him re-do the artwork McDonalds style, then it was released (and wasn't sold at the restaurants).

I accidently ate my copy of Chex Quest. I'm not a morning person and it's a bad idea to hide surprises in my breakfast cereal.

Yeah... no joke. What's with that new commercial with him dancing on a bed having a pillow fight with construction workers and sweaty men?!
Is he a closet homosexual??? And if so... what kind of meat is really in a Whopper?!

*moan*... my stomach hurts. I cry bitter tears for the developers who had to work on this game. My heart crys for you my brothers, rest your defiled soles now, take a shower and wash away the taint.
Anyway, as my hatred grows for the king and his empire of propaganda, I do see one good thing... maybe if he gets his own game he can stay the FUCK out of real games like Fight Night.
I wonder if the programmer was paid in Whoppers.

How quickly you all forget the greatest food/video game tie in of all time. (http://www.nesplayer.com/yonoid/main.htm)
I'm proud to say I actually have a copy of this masterpiece, though I'll be damned if I know how the hell I got it.

Technically, I preferred the Cool Spot (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cool_Spot) game that featured the spot from the 7-up cans although the Noid had tighter controls. There's also this little gem (http://www.genesiscollective.com/ShowPage.php?GameLink=817) featuring Fido Dido from 7-up.
And for the record BurgerTime is the greatest food/video game tie-in of all time. A close second is Budweiser Tapper, if that counts as a food tie-in.
