A couple of weird things. Did they really send me a new password through email? Unless all their accounts were somehow compromised or something, but this just seems stupid. It looks like a phising attempt, but the url appears valid enough, except that it doesn't show up in Thunderbird for some reason, only the gmail web browser. I haven't played this game or logged in for a long time.

Just curious if anyone else got one.

Any emails like that are most certainly a scam. I get perhaps 20 or more of those a week relating to World of Warcraft alone and many more for Facebook, Godaddy, Paypal, and on and on.

Yeah, there was something fishy (haha) about it, but there's no redirects or funny business with the domain and it seemed odd that it was "here's your new password," not "what is your old password?" I thought maybe AA had a security breach and they reset everyone's password, but others would have gotten the email as well.

Whatever, I'm going to just let it ride, I don't play AA anyway. What pisses me off a little, if they really did have a security problem, is that I use KeePass (http://keepass.info/) to generate and manage all my passwords. AA wouldn't let me cut & paste into the password field, so eventually I changed it to a simpler one because I got tired of typing a complex password all the time.
