Dungeon Siege II: Broken World picks up right where Dungeon Siege II left off with an all-new campaign mode, a new playable race, more items to discover and a brand new multi-class character development system. Dungeon Siege II: Broken World will require the full version of Dungeon Siege II.
Check out the first 4 DS II: Broken World screens (http://www.worthplaying.com/article.php?sid=33170) over at worthPlaying.

I remember the original DS being a lot better looking...

It was a lot better looking since at the time it was about par for the graphics being released. It still had worse graphics then Neverwinter Nights which came out at about the same time.
It appears that they are using a modified version of their original engine which means they are now way below par.

I remember how excited I was when I bought the original DS... I remember how disapointed I was after about two hours of telling my characters to drink a potion when they were fighting.

Why hasn't this game been ported to Microsofts game console so that I can at least chat with my friends while we watch our little dudes fight?
What's this "all-new" campaign mode going to consist of?
Of what is this "all-new" campaign mode going to consist?

Not sure if your joking or not, but 2k games now owns the DS IP, not MS.

Nicholes, prepare your towel, I actually enjoyed Dungeon Siege. Of course I'm a Chris Taylor fanboy so anything he touches becomes liquid gold, this is also one of a hand full of RPG’s I’ve actually played, but still I enjoyed the game, both of them.

Play more RPGs and then you will realize the errors of your way.

It is not a matter of playing "other" RPGs, just a matter of taste really.
DS1 was a very fun Diet RPG. It was a blend of a lot of popular gameplay mechancis and it was a lot of fun when played with a bunch of friends. That said, I never was able to get into DS2, the graphics and the gameplay worked back then but not now.

Why play Dungeon Siege when you can play Progress Quest (http://www.progressquest.com/)?
See, I liked action RPGs a lot, but DS1/2 fails utterly on all accounts. There's no point in playing them unless you really really REALLY desperate for mediocre action RPGness.

LOL, now see that’s the problem, I’m not a big RPG fan, I enjoy my RTS’s and a little FPS’s, hence why I enjoyed the DS series, there where some pseudo RTS elements in there.

I disagree. NWN looked like tiled ass to me. Tiles, tiles everywhere. I felt like I was playing an old nes game except with cool lighting effects and reflections.
In contrast, DS1 looked organic and natural, like somebody had CRAFTED the world instead of generating it.
I think DS2 was actually a step BACK graphically, except for specific things like water, which was slightly better.
of course this is all just opinion. On a technical level, NWN far surpassed DS1. But then EQ2 far surpasses WoW on a purely technical level too.
Mostly I just hated the gameplay of DS2. I think they took what was a good Diablo2 clone and fucked it up. If they had just upgraded the engine and kept the EXACT same play style, and added a new bigger more complex world and storyline, it would have been good, or at least playable.
