Yeah, "hypocrite" is definitely not what that phrase is indicating. The phrase isn't suggesting that you're stating you personal beliefs against an action while doing the opposite, but that you're stating something so passionately that it makes it appear as though you're trying to distract from the real truth; one that suspiciously appears to be the opposite of what you're saying. The line to focus on would be "NOBODY wants to be like you." You're sort of indicating otherwise with the overzealous approach, suggesting that you really do want to be like him. It's alright, we all need role models I guess. :D
