I was gonna wait until the new one came out but who knows if that will be pushed back or not. Plus i had the DS phat which plain sucks these days.

I got the white Mario and Luigi rpg bundle (i know nothing about this game) and Pokemon gold. I dont know what it is about pokemon but i have some good memories playing them and its been awhile. Now i can get the SD version R4 load up on old school games.

The DSiXL i passed on, it was only 20$ more but it was to much a novelty for me. The screen was to stretched.

Trade me shit. Also why didn't you wait for the 3DS, I might buy that.

Ugh, 3D is horrible. And that thing won't be out for another year, at least.

Anyway, my DS. I've only ever owned two games for it. That was Sims 2 (which came with it) that I broke like the second day.
Aaand then a couple weeks ago I got Pokémon. After like years of not using mine.
I'm lovin' pokémon but I've no other recommendations really.

I just bought a DS Lite last weekend. Didn't go with the Dsi because I didn't need to pay 40 bucks for a camera and a web browser(I have an iPhone, after all)

Picked up Super Mario 64 DS and The World Ends With You. Heard great things about The World Ends With You but haven't played enough to gauge yet.

Not sure how much I'm going to use this DS now that I have it :(

Oh, I think my brother had Bomberman. I completed that, it was awesome.

I didn't use mine until I got FF4. Had it collecting dust for about a year.

I have Bomberman DS (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bomberman_DS), got it out of a bargain bin at some point not too long after buying my DS Lite. 8 player single card play is a nice feature. Had a cool game mode too where you had to use the mic to drop bombs. Nice little multiplayer game if you have a group of people with DS's hanging out. Main game was typical arcade Bomberman, not a whole lot to it.

Think there have been a couple others that have come out on the DS since, but I haven't tried any of them. Bomberman Blast, Live or Ultra - depending on which current-gen console you're playing on - are all solid buys too.

Plan on picking up a new one soon myself, the ex is still hopelessly addicted to the games I left with her up in MI with mine. I'll probably pick up an XL tho, the little bit of noticeable stretching is well worth the tradeoff for how much more comfortable it is in my big hands. I also highly recommend Puzzle Quest (but NOT Galactrix) and the Mario and Luigi games.

Bought the Girlfriend a DSlite for her birthday a few days ago. Got her mario cart which is always fun, and nintendogs, which is not fun but somehow I managed to play it for at least an hour and a half while she studied for the final I should have been studying for too.

Today she bought scribblenaughts, I got to play about 30 minutes of it, it was fairly entertaining. I bought Zelda Phantom hourglass and played close to three hours straight, great game.

I still lovingly have my Pepsi blue FAT DS. Everyone else I emulate on my GPXWiZ.

How is the GPX Wiz? I've been wondering about them for a while now. Easy to use? Good compatability with emulation? Homebrew?

M&L:BIS is a fantastic game. Once you finish it, pick up Partners in Time, and then once you're done with THAT, pick up M&L:Superstar Saga for the GBA and play it in your DS Phat. No, there's no reason to play them in order (except for some minor character cameos from game to game), and yes--they are THAT good.

They really are. They kept me sane on a terrible fishing trip. Absolutely loved them.

(Except the GBA one, never got around to playing it)

It's the same size as a gameboy SP.

The NoE music thing is still totally irrelevant for all we know. Dont believe anything until Nintendo reports it.

I have fond memories of Superstar Saga because I leveled up Mario and Luigi in nothing but "Power" on a whim. As a result, the final badguy would kill me in one hit. There was nothing I had to do. I just had to retry the battle again and again and again until I randomly got to attack first and then I obliterated her in one hit.

I must have lost the battle like 20 times before I could win it.
