Lead & Gold is out soon on Steam, four days, and I was just wondering who's thinking about getting it?

It looks pretty good, the preorder gets you 10% off so I'm highly considering getting it before it's actually out. But I've not actually seen any gameplay stuff yet, so just figured I'd get your thoughts on it.

According to Steam I've played the beta for about two hours. I've had a lot of fun with it so far, and I will recommend it to my friends. My main issue with it though is latency which have been terrible in some of the games I've played. It's p2p, so it all depends on where the host is. It looks like there's no host migration either since a game I played earlier ended when the host left. Last time I played there were only 6 games online, but I hope there's more after release.

You might want to check out Giantbomb's quick-look if you want to see some gameplay.

Fatshark said they are working on dedicated servers.

For 14 bucks it's well worth the purchase as a fun time waster you can jump in and out if without hassle. The game runs smooth, and for its budget has polish out the ass. Balance can seem like an issue at times but for the most part the classes are even. LPBs rear their ugly head and a few classes seriously become OP when somebody is on a smoother connection than the others. Long long list of achievements to earn including one for killing a developer in game.

Can't go wrong with LnG if you don't expect more than what it's worth. Honest good fun.

That's the sorta thing I assumed it'd be, so that xD
Killing a developer in game? Now that is an awesome acheivement, seriously.

I'm only on WiFi atm so it'll take forever to download but yeah, might as well get it while the 10% is off.

Yes, Lockwoodx turned me on to the beta and let me tell you, it's TOTALLY worth $14 dollars. I think I even told him I'd pay full price for something like that.

BUY LEAD AND GOLD, you'll like it.

I did buy it, from what I played at first over WiFi it was fine but the connection lag meant I couldn't give it a full game.

I've not the most spare time atm but I'm seriously looking forward to giving this a good play. It does look amazing.

When I've been in a good game it's been really fun. I like the characters and the art style, my favourite being the deputy.
"Servers" should be a lot better when the game is actually released and will show up at the front page in Steam. I will try to get my friends to but it as well since the game is obviously more fun played with friends.

One complaint about the graphics though. I couldn't see any settings for anti-alising in the options menu, and that made the game look terrible for me. Of course this was easily fixed by using Nvidia control panel, but I'd still prefer settings for this ingame.

Seriously, I can't aim for shit.
The server is just, like, I don't know. When I'm on the menu it's all good but when I'm playing, instantly it's like I can't aim. I can't click an "OK" box or anything. I've adjusted sensitivity settings but I just can't manage it.
The game itself is really fun, when I play the practise I can aim and it's brilliant. I just, gah, soon as it's over an internet connection it sucks. >.>
Annoying.
