Developed by Dragonshard's Liquid Entertainment, wow, quite a change...

Kudos to Conner Dain for a similar submission.

Excellent. This means a Grey's Anatomy video game can't be far off either!

Did Conner Dain's submission also contain a page-long rant about the necessity of destroying television?

Back to the topic: the existence of this game is hilarious.

Of all the tv shows to make games about...is the Desperate Housewives target audience really considered gamers?

Where's Firefly The Game?! Or even Lost the game, with weekly content updates as the show progresses! You know it's coming.

Maybe this will fill the vast empty space where American dating-sims should be.

Actually Conner Dain's only had 1 link and nothing else.

There's a basic submission guide in the forums, please refer to that in the future, kay? :D

Yeah, I noticed that too. Ah, the irony is so think I could cut it with a knife. Of course, if he submitted only the one link, he could have been too disgusted to actually comment on the game.

I enjoy the show, but god damn, what a crap game this is going to be.

Ill welcome it if I (playing as a housewife) can have lesbian sex with Terri Hatcher.

I've been developing a Gilmore Girls mod for HL2 for 9 months now. It's called Gilmore Girls: Nerdy Bitches On Speed! but lately we're going for Rory's Revenge!

Jesus, for some reason I read that as 'Golden Girls.' The mental images of that are just terribly, terribly wrong.

I think the fact Liquid is devloping this is funny.

From games involving Dragons, Dungeons, epic battles to a game about cat fights and secret sex, yeah, I totally see the connection.

Small bit o' trivia. Buena Vista Interactive was originally formed so that Disney could release the Teen rated game Tron 2.0, developed by NOLF1/2 developer Monolith. They didn't want to sully the good name of Disney Interactive with a non-kid friendly titles.

A plot-driven version of The Sims? Mix and match dollhouse gaming and weird dectective elements?

Not that they would bother to do that but it's a neat idea to me.

This is to The Sims 2 what 50 Cent: Bulletproof was to GTA:SA.

Are you sure about that? I'm pretty sure Buena Vista's "Interactive" arm was around long before Tron 2.0.

Buena Vista itself was started by Disney to release the older audience movies that Disney didn't want to put it's own branding on.

It will be interesting if they can finish the game before the show crashes. Talk about time pressure!

Yay! A Desperate Housewives game! I wonder if the second half will be true to the 2nd season of the series (i.e. terribly pointless and uninteresting).

I've been developing a Gilmore Girls mod for HL2 for 9 months now. It's called Gilmore Girls: Nerdy Bitches On Speed! but lately we're going for Rory's Revenge!Hmmm, I would imagine your mod would consist of a scoring system based upon how quickly you could respond to rehearsed, unnatural, rushed dialog.

I think this is a good thing. Even if the game sucks, this is a smart move. Not only is it a deserpately needed "chick game" but it taps an untapped demographic: normal women!

Let's face it, despite how much fun most women would think The Sims 2 is, there's still a lot of them who are so snot-nosed they wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole because it's a videogame. But this is FOR snot-nosed women who might just buy it because they're obsessed with the show. Whoever came up with this is a genius.
