Ice Age 2: The Meltdown is based on 20th Century Fox’s upcoming movie. Scrat will dig, swim, sniff, spin and roll as Scrat in his never-ending quest to collect acorns. In the process, he serves as the unwitting hero in the quest to save the land from a giant flood.

Vivendi has released a demo allowing you to try out the first 2 levels as Scrat.

Well, there's not much that can be said about children's movies ported to games. The movie is funny as hell, and I can't wait to see the second installment, the games always lack because the story line of the movie isn't concerned with the fluidity of gameplay. So the game adheres to the movie storyline and has bland or nonsensible goals in the game levels.

BEST movie to game port? Aladin for the Sega Genesis. One of the best.

Dreamworks Animation movies suck so bad. Yes, I mean you too Shrek.

Fart jokes and stupid pop culture references don't make up for the lack of good storytelling.

Disney escapee Jeffrey Katzenberg knows the animation business. He also knows his toon factory can't compete with Pixar on quality. So he's making it up on volume.

Ice Age 1 and 2 had nothing to do with Dreamworks. Created by Blue Sky studios, distributed by Fox. Or were you just trolling?
