GameSpot (http://www.gamespot.com) has the details (http://www.gamespot.com/news/2006/03/20/news_6146216.html?part=rss&tag=gs_&subj=6146216).
Warner Bros. reveals developer of DC Comics-based action adventure; now planned for PSP release, as well as PS2 and Xbox.
Last July, Warner Bros. Interactive announced that it was working on a Justice League of America game for the PlayStation 2 and the Xbox. Then, like Batman pulling a trademark disappearing act from Commissioner Gordon's office, it was gone, with nary a peep out of Warner about the project--until today.
Emerging from its Fortress of Solitude, the action adventure game with role-playing elements has been officially titled Justice League Heroes. It's also now slated for release on the PlayStation Portable, as well as the Xbox and the PS2, and Warner Bros. Interactive has finally revealed the game's developer, Snowblind Studios.
Snowblind Studios is no stranger to action adventure games with role-playing elements. It developed Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance for the PS2, Xbox, and GameCube, as well as Champions of Norrath: Realms of EverQuest and Champions: Return to Arms for the PS2.
With a cast of do-gooders including Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Zatanna, Martian Manhunter, Green Lantern, and more to be unlocked, players can play through the game on their own or with a friend. Warner is promising destructible environments for players to tear up with their upgradeable powers.
No GameCube or DS love...
