This week's REAL Gamer Review comes in a special double dose form. Both cover the upcoming Elder Scrolls title Oblivion. The first one comes once again from EB Games.com (http://www.gamestop.com/product.asp?product%5Fid=200123&Section=CUSTREVIEWS#PROD). Submitted by our own fitbabits this little gem comes directly from God himself...apparently without a spell checker!
hi this is GOD. i have wached over the wolrd annd the human rase for thousands of years. In all my years of being, i have never wanted to play any game more than the next elder scrolls game. as GOD i am a very busy person but on my days off (sundays) i play morrowind all day. i have had it since it came out and im still hooked. ohh yeah bye the way, the creatores of this game are all going to hevean!!!!
Oh God...you crazy crazy God you. Maybe Sunday's should be spent studying the dictionary, or learning how to use your spell checker properly.
It's good to know though that Bethesda developers got themselves a free pass through the pearly gates for making a graphically impressive and deep RPG game. I have a feeling though, you'll be seeing a lot of clones now in the hopes for more free heaven passes.
And our second one. (http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/editorial/reviews/reviews.asp?pf_id=257412&intDeptTab=29)
HATED THE LAST ONE BUT...
I hated the last ElderScrolls game but this one looks simply amazing. And when I say looks, I meant graphics and game play. I only rented the last one and I really didn't like it. I'm glad this one is in first person because it give the feeling like you're actually the one playing the game. I just can't wait for this game. I just resently started playing RPGs and this one should be the ultimate because it should take at least 200+ hours to beat. It will definitly last a long time. And it will be so fun. And it will be better on 360 i think because I hate using mouse and keyboard to play games.
So Eddie, I'm curious, when you look at a game what else can you see besides graphics and gameplay? Are you able to see Audio?
And Eddie, I think we've caught you in a bit of a lie. You see, you didn't really rent the last one because you would know that it was first person as well. On top of that, Oblivion even offers a 3rd person viewpoint as an option. I hope that doesn't change your opinion of it!
Just remember Eddie, great game length doesn't make a great game. But you are correct, 200 hours is indeed a very long time. Don't try and troll though E-Dawg, I see through your petty PC vs. Console attempt at the end!
