A preview (http://previews.teamxbox.com/xbox-360/1300/Two-Worlds/p1/) of a fairly interesting looking RPG for the 360 is up at Team XBox. According to the preview, there's an 8 player coop-mode. I hope this turns out good.

I highly recommend watching the Monster movie. I'm pretty sure it's the last movie down on whichever page it is that has all the movies listed. The trees swaying and leaves falling is pretty hot. The animations are looking good too.

Cool. I like the idea that you can do things coop if you wish or not. It'd be cool if it was plug and play. Me and buddy are both playing the game single player and doing things. We decide we'd like to do a quest together so it switches to multi, we jump into the world together and go on our way.

I get the impression that you have a seperate multiplayer character. If that's the case, it'd be cool if there was an "instant action" to just play your character and the quests solo. It would be neat if your character could cross over though.

A nice benefit of the first year or two of a console is that even games with mediocre art can still look interesting.

Ordinarily I'd say this game looks terrible from an aesthetic sense but the highly detailed nature of it makes me want to play this game, explore its areas, wander its forests.

Or it could just be misplaced Oblivion hype oozing onto my perception of this game.

Edit: and I know it's nitpicking, but in that monster clip you reference there's some very obvious artifacting around the monster when his body is in front of the tree leaves. Also, is it just my computer or are these really choppy movies? Something to do with this Moveshot(TM)?

Excellent, another RPG for the 360. 8 player online co-op makes me happy! The videos at Team Xbox are short, but very sweet. Some excellent work going on with shadows and trees and leaves blowing in the wind. The game does remind me a bit of some of the lofty promises made by Fable, so hopefully it can match its promised design. Here's hoping.

Dude... I have no idea what you're expecting from games this generation. It sounds like you're looking a gen or two ahead of what is realistic.

You misunderstand me. The graphics look great, there's no denying that. It's the art style that looks...generic and lumpy; overall I get the feeling that this is the sort of game we'll look back at in a couple of years and think "man that was ugly."

I was commenting on how it can get away with its poor art because it's the beginning of a console generation and thus still very pretty looking.

This could turn out to be a very interesting title. I'll be keeping my eye on this one.

Sounds like another Elder Scrolls-esque game. (Which is a very good thing since it would add co-op!) I really hope they can pull it off, as the title looks very promising. I've been hoping for a long time to get a game with the level of detail of Morrowind/Oblivion, but with multi-player capabilities.

I hear where your coming from, but it's way early for that sort of nitpicking I think. Release is a pretty long ways off. Look at what Ubisoft did for GRAW with a moderately short delay.

*EDIT* I'm with you on the art direction though. It's nothing incredibly special. Still, I think this will turn out to be a beautiful game, regardless if it has a "unique" look. Hell, they may be going for a traditional medieval look. I guess it depends on how the world plays out.

i understand completely whats your saying, i kinda agree but is it just me or this look similar to oblivion?, only thing that is different is oblivion has sumwut better art design on characters and bigger towns (from the loosk of things)

Interesting stuff. I'm glad the 360 is getting much more RPG love than the original box. There's already almost a dozen games in production for it at this early stage, which is good.

As for this specific title, it sounds quite Fable/Gothic and it'll be interesting to see how the mechanics of it all work out with regards single/multi play.

Two worlds are better than one, that's what I always say.
