Good idea to have a game with cars and bikes.

Hasn't every Test Drive game been pants since the Amiga? I loved Test Drive 2 on my Amiga.

I'll have to wait for reviews for this one. At the moment PGR3 is good for racing online and offline :)

I am a car nut but test drive has been the most horrible car game released. I stopped buying them after test drive 1, and stopped renting them after test drive 2. I do not even know if I can handle renting them now..

Who says this thing is at 60fps?!? Every movie I've seen looks like it can barely maintain 30fps! :rolleyes:

After reading from some people who got to play an early version in a test, it sounds like it handles worse than the old Test Drive games. Damn shame.

Cool feature: Dead flies on the visor in those screens.

It certainly looks pretty, but as stated before there hasn't been a good Test Drive for a long, LONG time. Well there's always the slightest of chances that this one will be good, and I certainly hope so since not a single racing game has really grabbed me since Project Gotham 2. I found Forza to be a huge dissapointment, the handling and physics just seemd off to me and the online mode was so heavily dependant on the car you were driving. PGR3 makes me want to cry. They took out everything that made PGR2 so great, the car classes, the online mode, clunky menus, the reducded difficulty. It's such a shame because the actual driving part of the game is absolutely fantastic.

I will give honourable mention to Flatout though, despite having seriously annoying problems the game managed to be incredibly fun, especially online.

Im picking this one up for sure, Create a racer, possible MMO porperties in online, and its aimed totally for free race roaming simulation. also i always wanted to drive in florida with no traffic.

I bought Test Drive 4 for the PS1 and while it had it's moments, it was a pretty clunky game. All the other Test Drive demos I've played felt pretty much the same. Unless they pull out something really cool with this one, I'll pass.

I've got my eye on this one. Anyone that doesn't know much about it should read a few previews, if they pull off what they are trying to do well and with a good driving model this game could redefine multiplayer driving games completely.

I want to believe in this game.
So far they havent done anything to turn me away from it.
The scope is cool, bikes and cars, and all of hawaii, frankly its cool
I know theyve had problems with TD in the past, but I will choose to have faith on this one.

pants means bad!

i loved testdrive 1 & 2on the Amiga as for the rest...........................

this one certainly looks nice enough, but like every other xbox360 game, i will be suprised if it looks this good.

photomode in games has made me lose all faith in screenshots, and frankly they look like photomode to me.

I have gone from being a practical cert to buy an X360 to a sit on the fence to compare with ps3 and pc offerings, because frankly i havent seen anything yet that my ageing XP3200+ and overclocked 6800 couldnt do with ease.

if they are ingame, and if the framerate is at least a steady 30fps then i will happily admit to being wrong, however i expect the final ingame product to look nowt like as good as those screens.
