Holy mother of Ken Griffey Junior! If they fix the animation transitions from the Xbox version, which are a bit janky, then we have another great Next-Gen game alongside Fight Night 3.
I honestly don't see how the PS3 could do 'better' graphics. The PS3 delay just expands and solidifies the X360 user base.

I'm still not clear on this, are we allowed to talk shit about the 2K games now that they went the EA route with the exclusive rights thing, or is blind EA hatred > all?

No, we still have a blind hatred of all things EA, unless they make a good game like Battlefield 2 or Fight Night 3 or Burnout Revenge or... ;)

I do not think they have exclusive rights do they? There are other basball games out. The show and another one.
Also, check out the detail in this shot, you can even see a next gen fart

I just hope they make sure the texel value match. Hi-res on every object in the scene bitte.
Anyhow , exclusives suck and 2k made a 3rd party deal where they EXCLUDED ea , thatīs all. Exclusives are crap, but 2k made it to have a leverage against EAs Fkked up NFL rights.

EA completly fucked up the nfl rights, the only nfl game, and football in general.

At least 2k shared the basball rights to everyone, excet those football destroying bastards.

There's still a difference.
Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo, ANY of them can make a Major League Baseball game under the agreement with 2k sports.
Under EA's NFL agreement, NO ONE ELSE can make a game.
The MLB case hurts EA the most. But still allows consumer choice with first party titles. (Although it does hurt consumer as well)
The NFL case hurts consumers the most, with NO choice.
That's why you don't hear nearly as much complaining about the MLB situation.

Those graphics are incredible. Except all the players expressions look lifeless.

I'll get this for the regular XBox. I wasn't pleased with MLB: The Show for the PS2. It felt like shit after MVP'05. I don't care how nice the presentation and announcers are if the game is clunky.

Agreed.
....and for what it's worth, Gamespot had screens (http://www.gamespot.com/xbox360/sports/majorleaguebaseball2k6/news.html?sid=6145716&mode=previews) of the game last week, so TXB's shots aren't the "first."

There's one major problem.... the field still looks like CRAP and there are no ground shadows where there should be. They really need to work on the ground textures.
Also the people in the stands look as though they were ported from a bad Nintendo game from the 80's.
