Remember back when Nintendo announced that Wii Motion Plus thing? Yeah, it came out and like two games actually made use of it. Well, add a third to the list. Andria Sang (http://www.andriasang.com/e/blog/2010/02/03/zelda_motion_plus_and_playable_at_e3/) has word that the new Zelda in development for the Wii will be a Wii Motion Plus only title. Yes, that means you'll need to purchase this "should-have-been-there-in-the-first-place" add-on to play the next Zelda.
Wii Motion Plus will feature heavily in the new Zelda game. In fact, Aonuma told Famitsu that it will be Wii Motion Plus exclusive. This was actually an area that was under debate at the outset of development. "After actually making it compatible," said Aonuma, "it just feels so natural. Link's sword and the controller that you're holding become one."
Asked if there will be gameplay that emphasizes the ability to freely swing your sword, Aonuma responded with an "Of course." He also hinted that the way you fight enemies could be the key to solving some puzzles.
