The weekend is here - and for some colleges and high schools, it means the start of Spring Break. If I had spring break I would have many a long nights up in CoH or WoW. But I don't, so I just have to rely on the weekend for my long nights. What are you going to be playing this weekend?

GRAW (360), Burnout Revenge (360), God of War (PS2), Resident Evil 4 (GC)! Gaming nirvana... :)

GRAW and Burnout Revenge on the 360, and Morrowind on the PC (just to scratch my Oblivion itch).
Love'n GRAW so far, even though some spots on the missions require that I make a dozen attempts to advance.

Spring Break at the beginning of March, really? I've always had my spring break around the end of March.
I've been playing a lot of Grid Wars, it's damn awesome.

Hoo boy, I finally found some time to game:
- Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance (boring yet fun)
- System Shock 2 (whoa, it *is* actually better than Deus Ex)
- Syberia (oooooohhhhh, the mechatoys are creeeeepy)
- Nightlong: Union City Conspiracy (3 cookies for the first person who recognizes this game without googling it)
- Enclave (11th level I think (the one underwater with the skellies), Druid kicks ass, game is way to easy)

Burnout Revenge 360 and GRAW. Oh the gaming goodness! We should have an EA Coop night on GRAW this Saturday night, perhaps? Isn't there a 16 man coop map?

For Saturday I'll be playing a mix of Onimusha DoD and Shadow Hearts FNW. On Sunday I leave on a business trip, so what I play will depend on what I can do in the hotel. If the TV has input plugs, it will be more Onimusha and Shadow Hearts. If it doesn't, then I'll be playing a mix of Generations of Chaos on my PSP, Baldur's Gate 2 on my old (P3) laptop, and Fire Emblam: Sacred Stones along with Phoenix Wright on my DS.

I'm not too smart. I, just last night, bought component cables for my PS2 and Xbox. Wow! at the difference. I've been ghetto gaming for far too long, never thinking new cables would make much of a difference. And I have an HDTV! Thanks bobbler, for getting me off my ass!
That said, I have lots of gaming "work" this weekend, so I'll be up to my balls in it. If I somehow find time for myself, I'll be playing Black on Xbox (I love this game) and finally finishing my season (World Series--My BoSox vs the Mets!) of MVP '05, just in time to run out and buy MLB: The Show.

I used to think I was weird, but I'm a pretty typical young person in this.
While I really like sex, I'm totally not into spending my time seeking it. I'll go out on dates on Friday or Saturday night, but I don't want a steady girlfriend who wants to spend all her time with me.
College girls are pretty cool this way too. Especially if you date one that is involved with a sport that takes up a lot of her time. I've actually gone after girls based on the sport they play and the sport season before. How sick is that?
I'm really not alone at all too. Girls call me and my friends that don't return phone calls assholes, but they are perfectly willing to go out again if I call them. . . so why waste more time than you have to.
I'm thinking of picking up GRAW. My 360 needs a little love.

Quit WoW. I barely played with my 360 until I cancelled my account in December, from then on it's been a high-def orgy. Cut that shit off like cancer :)

I'm on the second to last mission. One thing that I really hate is if you reach a checkpoint with barely any health and you're about to enter a really tough part of the game. You're pretty much screwed and have to restart the whole mission. I tried this one "situation" for at least 45 minutes last night before giving up. Graaaawww!!!

My spring break was this week, so it's actually ending this weekend. That said, I'm still planning to get in quite a bit of gaming. Im gonna say its worth it if youve never played Burnout Revenge before, or your just really really into the series. Im in the later group and I picked it up and am so far loving it. However, if you already own it for the xbox, the changes aren't all that substantial.

Thanks to my little sister, I was able to secure a 360 this past week, so Kameo for me! And Condemned: Criminal Origins, if I can get comfortable with the sprint function. I skipped burnout Revenge on the Xbox/PS2 because I had just been playing Burnout 3 before it came out and was a little burned out (heh.... that's just terrible). But, Burnout Revenge on the 360 in high def has revitalized the experience for me. So, i'd say if you don't have a different version of Burnout:Revenge, go for it. Otherwise, dunno..

My gaming time just expanded considerably. I broke up with my girlfriend about a half hour ago. It sucks, but I think it was the best thing for both of us.
I feel melancholy about the whole thing. There were plenty of good things about the relationship but plenty of bad things as well. It wasn't going to end in marriage, and her contract at her apartment is about to expire. She'll have a couple months to figure things out and move on.
Sorry for the derail - I needed to purge somewhere.
So... what the hell do I do? Probably some Zelda Collector's Edition on my GC, catch up on a few miscellaneous XBox/PS2 titles, and pursue my relaxing new hobby: learning to play the piano. Beethoven fucking rules.
Edit: Oh, and try to find an XBox 360 somewhere. My brother just got GRAW, so if I can't find one, I'll just hang out over there.

Me too. HMC and Season 1 of Fraggle Rock, actually. I'm about 3/4's of the way through Howl's Moving Castle and I am thoroughly enjoying it. I think I like it a bit more than Spirited Away...
It's gotta be the fact that there are more airships featured in HMC than Spirited Away.
As for gaming, I'm working this weekend so it'll be mostly DS stuff while at work. I also just picked up Dawn Of War (for $15!) and Galactic Civilizations 2 today, so while I want to play WoW, I'll likely be doing some form of Turn-Based or Real Time battling on my PC.
As for the consoles, I'm just working on Grandia 3 at the moment. I have Shadow Hearts 3, but I want to finish Grandia first. Anyone have any idea how long it's supposed to be?

Tomorrow I'm at Mock Trial regionals (we're gonna lose like we always do) most of the day, but since the stress of life is off, I'm gonna have some time to really dig in and play games. I still prefer Princess Mononoke to either Spirited Away or HMC...
And of course, none of them hold a candle to my all-time favourite Miyazaki flick, Laputa: Castle In The Sky. I need to pick up the Disney release of it as my Ghibli box set doesn't have English dubs and my little guy is a wee bit too young to read subtitles. Jeeze-god! Temple of Elemental Evil might be the most boreing, dry game I've played in the past five years <.< Does it get better?
Uh-oh.
It's a dungeon romp. Take Baldur's Gate, strip it out of its story & characters and you'll have ToEE.
ToEE is about moving from one room to another, killing monsters alongside.
If you don't like it now (or if it doesn't click with you now) then it probably won't later, because it's pretty the same from the very beginning to the very end.
The Temple (the main & only) dungeon is its saving grace - just wait till you find the back-entrance or the Elemental Temples inside or the Elemental Nodes.
Some awesome battles there, better than the best encounters in BG2.
So, uhh.. give it a try - at least play untill you enter tToEE.

I've been reading a book that talks about the Future Objective Force Warrior program, which is the tech featured in GRAW; apparently the military's been working on it since the end of Cold War to protect US interests aka combat terrorism. Okay, clearly this thread is where all the copies of GRAW went. It’s sold out at every store in the area... bastards.
I'm playing WoW and Burnout Revenge (360). In Revenge dislike the simplification of the crash mode scoring system, it makes the scoring feel too random, and makes it hard to decide just what you need to hit in order to get a high score apart from 'hit a whole lot of cars'. There's more to the scoring than that, but it's not as apparent as the multipliers that were in the last game. Other than that the game's amazing.
