The Battlefield: Bad Company 2 console demo and PC beta will feature Port Valdez, a new vehicle focused map where up to 24 players (32 on PC) will compete against each other as either the US or Russian armies in the game's Rush multiplayer mode. Players will have access to five land and three air vehicles where the Russian side can use everything in their arsenal including Main Battle Tanks as well as the fast-moving Quad Bikes and Mobile Armored AA. The fight will also be packed with plenty of infantry combat fought alongside the waterline towards a great oil industrial landscape in the Alaskan mountains.

Same. I lean towards Xbox since a ton of my friends are all xbox gamers. But the increased player counter on the PC is intriguing. Still, I always go where the friends are.

Dice needs to stop with the trailers. They are just too exciting. I couldn't imagine all that happening in one run, my brain would explode. This is a must purchase, I am just trying to decide which system to get it for.

I said some not-nice things about the infantry combat in BF:BC1 in a different thread (and I still stand by that) but damn that trailer looks sweet. And good call on the audio- way better than anything in CoD.

If the demo lives up to that I'll be picking this up.

This looks amazing. I think I have just been sold on this game. I am buying this as soon as I can.

I'm going for the PC just because the reflexes are better where as with the Xbox. Its so much harder to aim with the Xbox controller because when I try to stop the cross hair, it seems to keep going because of the way the movement stick is set up. Not too happy about it, but I am damn glad its coming out for the PC

Granted I haven't played the demo yet but the first game made the guns feel more realistic. There is a lot more kick on the guns and less aiming assist, I can only assume its the same for BFBC2.

In MW2 sniper rifles seems useless to me since you can shoot someone on the other side of the map with basically any weapon. Done a lot of that with the scar and magnum.

That's impossible in BC2.

I was ready to be disappointed after reading posts (on other forums) of bad lag and difficulty joining games, but I suppose those issues are PC game related. No trouble finding and joining a game and no lag at all. Overall gameplay seemed very smooth and very playable. The snipers were out in full force and made the game just a bit tedious. But that's not the game's fault. Everything seemed to work very well.

Enjoying the demo so far myself, interesting changes to the class set-ups. I now just wish they let you unlock more weapons/items to play with.

This is 100% true. The game is good, but not nearly as polished at MW2.
