IGN (www.ign.com) has an excellent preview up (http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/694/694556p1.html) of Blazing Angels: Squadrons of WWII for the XBox 360. The preview covers the single player campaign and goes through some of the history behind each mission. There's also a few new screenshots.

The first real mission takes place above Dunkirk as you stave off bombing wings and tank columns from reaching the city. You start out protecting a column of English tanks and transports as they cross a bridge. When they are safely across, it's then you're job to take out the bridge so the Jerries can't cross. The plane in this mission features the standard machine gun as well as bombs. As you fly, you'll notice a small bombing reticule on the ground and you'll click in the right analog stick to release your payload.
I'm really stoked for this title. Sounds like the gameplay should be fun, and it's absolutely gorgeous too!

I am going to be torn come the end of March. Oblivion is going to be out and I know that will take up most, if not all, of my gaming time. Somehow I am going to have to squeeze in time to play Blazing Angels, especially the multiplayer. As problems go, I guess this is one of the better ones to have.

I hope the flying physics will be focused on fun, like Crimson Tide... This looks like a cool title.

I agree with everything except the part where you mistake Crimson Skies for a Bruckheimer movie (even if it's one of his better ones). Death to the heathen!

I had to re-read my post 5 times before I caught my mistake... Oops! :o
