unfortunately i enjoyed killing the human npcs much more then the aliens.... It seems like my enjoyment potential for part 2 has plummeted

Crysis and Warhead were two of my favorite games. The sandbox nature of it really got some milage from me. I think I played through both about 5 times. Maybe 6-7 for the first one (especially after i upgraded my rig).

Im interested in the sequel. New York?Hrmm... the best parts of Crysis was beating up Koreans. Though the alien sections were pretty rad if your computer could handle the crazy ice shaders.

Im pretty sure Im going to like this game. Crytek has always been one of my favorites.

I'm...I'm very disappointed by this. I thought the aliens were the weakest part of the first game. The icy terrain was awesome, but the aliens themselves...well, they sucked. It was a lot more fun running around killing the human NPCs.

I agree, taking on humans were fun, going after aliens were boring.

Well I loved the first games but I agree that the aliens weren't as fun to fight as the Koreans.
Hopefully they redesign the aliens, or add some better ones.

We could be jumping the gun a little early on the whole only aliens thing. Could be similiar as the first game. Alien comet thingy crashes into NYC- some other force invades attempting to get control?

I can't imagine they would remove combat against other human parties for crysis 2. That was consistently where the most praise landed for crysis 1.

Playstation?Yes, Crysis 2 is multiplatform (Xbox 360, PS3, PC).

I didn't enjoy the first Crysis much at all, but for me, the highlights were the alien parts. Fighting humans in a super suit just didn't do it for me. Grabbing a guy by the neck and hurling him into the forest was fun for awhile, but the guns didn't feel like they had any weight, and even when you plug a guy with half a clip in the chest, he still didn't go down.

I never understood why people liked Crysis so much.

One of these days I need to get around to actually PLAYING Crysis instead of using it as a glorified tech demo and benchmark for my 4870x2-sporting Core 2 Quad.

I'm betting there'll be better aliens and no zero G. Lots of darting through business floors, taking on lithe, more melee aliens.

Amazing. I haven't played Crysis but apparently they made the exact same mistake as they did in Far Cry, with lame ass trigens dominating the second half.

Crysis is GPU bound.

And they moved the action to the city because consoles wouldn't be able to handle the forest and especially the huge open maps. They have piddly ammounts of RAM and VRAM, and will probably hold back the game like they did with Deus Ex IW and Thief 3.

I think Crysis 2 will have lesser system reqs than the first 2, because it can run on the xbox and PS3.

Damnit. What i loved about the first one was the beautiful forrest environment and killing humans. After you went into the mountain and aliens started popping op i got bored :(

Yeah, seriously!?! Oh, a Playstation magazine plugging a failing Sony platform. Big suprise! ;)

What's all this Crysis noise? I look at the image and all I see is a review for Heavy Rain. That's what I'm interested in. :D
