Age of Empires III will get its first expansion pack, providing players with the ability to lead one of three proud Native American civilizations, including the Iroquois Confederation, to expand their empire and fight for control of the Americas.

The expansion pack, due out Fall 2006, will provide new ways to play and win, introducing new gameplay elements and content including new civilizations, a new single player campaign, Home City enhancements and additional maps and units. Additional content will be added to all existing European civilizations as well.Check the Age of Empires III expansion pack screens (http://www.worthplaying.com/article.php?sid=32484) over at WorthPlaying.

All I know is that's still the prettiest frigging RTS ever.

AoE 3 looked cool, but it wasn't nearly as fun as II for me.

I admit though once you finally have a country and armies established (usually takes around 17 hours), it's pretty fun to go at it and battle.

The game's average score of 82% on gamerankings.com was surprisingly low for an "Age of" game. What happened? I never tried the game myself.

What happened is that they added huge replayability optiopns and took out the multiplayer save-game feature (which sucks)
This game should still be getting better ratings than Empire Earth II, which rates higher and isn't nearly as much fun IMHO.

So they finally got the "rights" to use Indians? Cool.

Is this the exp that adds the new "saloon" and "pestilence" abilities to the settlers? Will there be a singleplayer mission where you have to "eradicate all indians on the map?"

They suffered enough I say!
