TalkXbox (http://www.talkxbox.com/article1712.html) speculates that Ubisoft may be bringing the Japanese XBox 360 RPG, Enchant Arm (I'll spare you the real title) to the US. While Ubi has yet to make an official announcement, the game can be found via a Gamefly (http://www.gamefly.com/products/detail.asp?pid=120090) listing.

The 360 definitely needs some JRPGs in the US.

Yay! I want some RPG goodness on my 360.

Hate being the naysayer but my experience with this RPG so far is that it's pretty damn average. I've only played about 5 hours into it, but everything is quite generic, the graphics are really inconsistently good and bad, and the combat system isn't boring, but it also isn't that engaging.
But, it has no competition, so if you're desperate for JRPG action it'll probably still be worth your money. It's not a BAD game, but it's certainly not anything too special.
Anyway, I should finish it before I rant too much about it.

Here's hoping... My poor 360 isn't getting as much attention as it should simply because I'm not really into console FPSs, racing, or sports games.

I think any addition to the X360 library is great. This is welcome news

I'm not going to play a game just because it happens to be a "J-RPG" you know, because frankly, most of them suck. If any J-RPG would be of the same quality as say, FF or Dragon Quest VIII or Kingdom Hearts 2, I'd be a happy camper, but that's just not the way it is.

fixed it for you. The 360 could use any kind of game at this point, besides FPS or Racing, as it seems to have both of those covered quite well at this point.

Wouldn't you rather have good JRPGs? I don't think a flood of medicore titles are going to help the 360 any.

I don't care about any JRPGs anymore. But, for MS's sake, they better get some JRPGs in their library, any JRPG. I can't really recall any for the original XBox. So if they want to expand their customer base, good, bad, horrible as long as they get some out there it's a start.

I'm not sure if I really agree with this logic. The 360 would just go from being the system with no appeal to Japanese gamers and gamers that enjoy Japanese games to the system with a lot of shitty Japanese games.

Long term, yeah it's bad. Short term, anything is a start. Going from 0 to 1 is definitely a plus. No matter how bad a game is, it'll appeal to SOME gamers.
