Coming soon to a Public Test Realm near you.... Weather effects, and changes in high level instances and itemization! Big patches like this usually spend a month or more on the Test Realms, so copy your character over and check it out when it opens on Tuesday!

nerf shamens.......

They aleady did. They are now Shaman. :p

Shamans aren't a problem. I have played several characters on both the Horde and Alliance side. I would rather face a shaman any day than a Paladin. It's not that you can't beat a Paladin. It's that it takes forever. I can usually take out a shaman much quicker.

I think I am going to give the test realm a shot next week. A really good preview of weather effects could be interesting.

What are you talking about? Shaman is an alphabetical buff, it shows up earlier now! :p

Anyhoo, I've been away from the game too long (with school being in the way and all). I'm hoping for that Mage Talent revamp that's suppposed to be coming up.

Personally, I have way more trouble fighting a hunter than a shaman.

Same here. Hunters have been the king of 1 on 1 for a while. In fact, Shamans aren't even close to being overpowered after all the class tweaks that have happened. I remember when Warlocks were pathetically gimped. Now they're bubbling up to be the next pvp king. It's funny how things change...

They did nerf shamans, and every other healer in the game, by making mana conservation mods impossible. Jackasses.

At least AV should be a lot more fun.

Holy shit. They added a HUGE buff to druids:

All shapeshift forms can now use equipped items.

"Fixed a bug that would prevent health and mana display in group or raid from updating properly."

Yay, this has been the death of a many good parties when suddenly health isn't being updated in the middle of a big battle.

I play a shaman myself and usually have no problem destroying anything in my path, but paladins, hunters and warlocks are damn tough to beat sometimes.

Finally you can fly between multiple places without having to click each one of them, the game now takes you there automatically... took them a few years implementing that. Sheesh.

Oh. You mean the fear years equating when the game was released (November 2004), and now? Shit, wait. Thats only 16 months. not 24.

Wow... the Priest revamp looks awesome. I thought they said they were doing the reviews in order of necessity, and that with each additional class review, fewer and fewer changes would be seen. Compared to the Paladin review, which was mostly a shuffling of existing talents, the Priests got a major overhaul.

Also--I'm confused. All healing classes EXCEPT paladins were given a healing efficiency boost? I know that Pallies had the most efficient heal in the game (Flash of Light), but I thought that was trade-off for the fact that it healed so little for a 1.5s cast. What advantage in healing do Pallies have now?

Pallies always have had much less threat generation from heals.

Sweet! Fortunately they're able to keep the threat on the squishies where it belongs.

Don't worry, you'll get taken care of next patch Groo while my guild continues to field 8 shamans on a raid so we can have totems in every group because shamans suck balls on raids.

Pretty good breakdown.

I guess since they added new items to the same dungeons we have been doing since release we should be happy.

Making UBRS 10-man only is going to make it even more of a pain to find someone with a key for a PUG. =/

Mana conservation mods? Why not actually PLAY your character. I play a 60 Dwarf Priest and every instance in the game to include BWL and now AQ.. I don't use mana conserve yet I have the lowest overall during raids.
Seriously if you need a mod to play your class there is something wrong.

Hi Venom,

I'm sure the 25 mana/sec regen you recieve from blessing of wisdom helps. Thanks,

god, you damn allies always bitch. Play the game on something other then easy mode, try horde. Out numbered 3-1 on basically all servers, and severly lacking in the almost neccesary powers of the pallies in raids, on top of all that, when levling, one has about 1/3 the number of quests that your average alliancer has to choose from. They could make the pallies only weapons god damn snowballs, and I would still say they haven't been nerfed enough. I am all for buffing shammies, it is already to find one that still plays after 60...Screw all you whiney bastards!

Out numbered 3-1 on basically all servers

And yet, close to 99% of all statements about World of Warcraft are from Horde players saying, "We are outnumbered 3-1!"

Newbs need mods. BoW does help, but then again so do totems... Learn to play your class or become a rogue. Wait let me guess you think your DPS in end game?
lol

Holycrapper
I do agree that alliance has a advantage in PVE overall but to say that Shammies need some buffing is nuts. If played by someone with any amount of skill they are a beast. Windfury me please how about an AOE kite? Sounds good to me.
Now I do have a 60 dwarf priest and also a 60 Tauren Warrior. I play the priest for PVE and the Tauren for PVP.

I'm a god damned warrior on the alliance only cause friends wanted to be. I have no problems at all and I doubt it was be "easy mode" for me on the horde. I played the horde for a good deal and nothing felt all that different. Except as a Tauren warrior I was a bit stronger. I solo'ed more of the game than normal. I even done as much as half a few instance alone. Sure you can't complete them but <meh> "ninjas" suck. Nerfing warriors bad, already can't get healed up fast enough for shit.

Thanks for proving you have no idea what raiding as a horde player is like.

I actually have a 60 Tauren Warrior that I play end game. Thanks.
Oh also I do not use mana conservation mods, yet im normally #1 - #2 on the healing meters and also the lowest overheal. That's without your mods.
So until you learn to play your class efficiently, you should start running some 5 man instances.
Thanks
