Eidos Interactive today launches a new futuristic website for Rogue Trooper, a tactical action game based on the 2000 AD comic strip which is set to be released in North America in Spring 2006 for the PS2, Xbox and PC. The official site is now live at www.ROGUETROOPER.com (http://www.ROGUETROOPER.com).
The site is an introduction into the universe of the Genetic Infantryman (G.I.), with detailed information on characters and weapons used on Nu Earth. The hi-tech site is a detailed hub of up-to-the-minute information on the game - allowing you to size up your opposition with detailed briefs on enemies, highlighting their strengths and weaknesses, plus a tactical tutorial with a video section illustrating a few of the multiple ways to play the game.
There are a host of downloadable videos, wallpapers and even artwork available on the site, plus a selection of screenshots, including some 360 view shots, which the viewer can navigate around.
ROGUE TROOPER blends intense third person action and next generation stealth, as Rogue wreaks revenge armed with the very latest experimental weaponry. Rogue's arsenal offers him a unique advantage over his opponents, with encoded bio-chips containing the digitised personalities of his fallen comrades, each offering their full military experience at the player's fingertips.
