Heaven or Hell, Let's Rock! Next Gen Guilty Gear on the Way?

It appears that Arc System Works' Rock n Roll themed 2D fighting series Guilty Gear hasn't been completely forgotten about since the release of Blazblue, according to producer Daisuke Ishiwatari. However,when asked about a crossover series, he states that it isn't likely. NowGamer (http://www.nowgamer.com/news/2122/next-gen-guilty-gear-in-the-works) reports:

“Personally I don’t like that idea,” Ohno replied. “What we can say about Guilty Gear is that it is not dead yet. It has not ended. The producer/creator of Guilty Gear, Daisuke Ishiwatari, his comment for this meeting [was] ‘I have the full intention to create Guilty Gear for PS3 and 360.[...]“It’s a different world – it’s not BlazBlue taking over Guilty Gear, but Guilty Gear is an important thing for us and we want to make sure fans of Guilty Gear continue to have fun in that world."

Well here's hoping its not another Overture, and an actual 2D fighter..

There are considerable licensing issues with creating another guilty gear. That's the main issue.

BlazBlue is my favorite fighting game that i've ever played. So I really don't mind if they don't go back to guilty gear, i own 3 different versions of guilty gear XX already.

Best soundtrack of any game ever in my opinion... Also the greatest series ever, hehe I still have my disc of Guilty Gear for the PS1 that I bought from Blockbuster when I was like 10 sitting around here somewhere.
