Gamecloud (http://www.gamecloud.com/) has posted a short interview (http://www.gamecloud.com/omg.wtf?lolz=3723) with Acclaim's brand manager Ken Chan discussing the company's future plans.
I was hoping for a little Turok love.

I was hoping for a little Turok love.Nope, none of Acclaim's former IP OR pathetic marketing gimmicks. Which in one way is good, and in another, is really kinda sad...

I am sad to say I have played every Turok game (never completed Evolution though, I'm still waiting for it to load).
Rankings:
1. Turok Rage Wars (the Quake 3 of the N64)
2. Turok 1 (gotta love the original)
3. Turok 3 (ripping off Half-Life did not make it fun)
4. Turok 2 (impossible to beat without walkthru)
5. Turok Evolution (axe... still.... spinning.....)

I remember Turok 1 Glide being included with my 3dFX Voodoo2 card. Those were impressive graphics in those days! Fun game too.

I remember fog. Lots and lots and lots of fog. I was pretty sure they had licensed a John Carpenter property for the game.

I didn't think Turok and love belonged in the same sentence.

Why bring this brand back? Infogrames wanting to become Atari is understandable, but Acclaim has a long, shameful history of crappiness (with a few exclusions).
