The 8GB fix makes me happy. Can't wait to see if there's a performance improvement, like they say.

That new gameplay mode sounds interesting. And this is better than any of the crap CM's shoveling.

The fact that the game can use up to 8GB of ram, and needs to use 8GB of ram, actually has me intrigued.

That's a bad reason to be interested.

DRM Free!
Not that it would matter if I bought it off Steam...

Very much now looking at purchasing this game.
Wonder how it treats 12Gb of RAM? : /

It cant, nobody has been able to make it use more than 2 gigs. The 8 gig thing in the patch was just to fix a bug.

Yeah, the bug that it doesn't work when you have 8GB of memory in a 64-bit OS.

So, if this patch fixes that and the game can work properly without the "-xp" startup command, then I'm looking forward to seeing if a performance increase occurs.

Ah, that kinda sucks. Well, i'll just wait for quite a few patches and a Steam sale.

You missed the steam sale, it was about a month ago for 1/2 price and when I picked it up. I am glad I did as it rocks.
