In case you've been wondering just how the war is going between Soldiers and Demomen, it's are pretty neck and neck all things considered. An update to the official TF2 Blog (http://www.teamfortress.com/post.php?id=3255) shows that 5,727,928 Soldiers and 5,742,720 Demos have been killed... A difference of only about 15,000. The archives of war (http://www.teamfortress.com/war/part6/index.htm) have also been updated, hinting at some more reveals.

The war is almost over... GO ENLIST.

If you take out the bullshit bonus points Demo actually pulled ahead by more than the current loss. Hopefully that trend keeps up and we prevail in the end.

As for the unlocks... Not what I expected.

Overpowered stickies are overpowered.

Soldier pick seems kind of underwhelming - would have been nice to see something that interacts with rocket jumping (perhaps if it gave you a charge attack after rocket jumping similar to the demo shield)

Banner is cute, although if the horn immobilizes you during use then you're going to die like a bitch (and get the bitch ending you deserve).

Yup, I think so. It'll be the most interesting out of all the classes though since he's (in my opinion) the most different.

Use a grenade to gib a player.

They don't refer to rockets as grenades, do they? They pretty much call them rockets. They don't have a weapon like the pyro's air blast either, so I have no idea how else it would work

Maybe the soldier won and they get some kind of a grenade? :confused:

The new rocket launcher might shoot grenades instead of rockets?

And if anything, I see them going It's to close and giving them both weapons.

Also, on the back of the Soldier T-shirt it's got a grenade, (Like the demoman's got a sticky)
