I have never played a Hitman game, I think it is high time to catch up.

I loves me some Hitman. Contracts was definitely a disappointment, but that does not erase the fact that there is nothing else quite like the Hitman games. 47 is one of the coolest characters in gaming today.

I fucking love hitman. It's the most (close to real life)badass game character except maybe Snake or Fisher.

If they are making a hitman movie, Jason Stratham better be the hitman.

As of right now, it is Vin Diesel. Ugh.

But anyway, I cannot wait for this game. I totally love these games.

The first time I got the silent assassin rank was on that mission in Hong Kong when you have to snipe one of the gang leaders at the meeting. One shot, one kill, clean getaway.

Awesome!

I love this series for some reason (given the usual so-so reviews). I definitely enjoy it more than Metal Gear or Splinter Cell, maybe because it's so amoral and anti-heroish.

Man I really wish this was out for the 360..

Awesome!

In all of videogamedom (yes, that is a word because I say so) nothing has the same satisfaction as perfectly executing a complex kill, undetected, and then calmly walking away. Hitman games are so great on so many levels.

Oh man, I won't accept anything BUT Silent Assassin. I'm sure Blood Money will get my money.

Me too. No 360 version makes Mr.Green sad. These screens look amazing nonetheless.

Btw, are you the Swat?

Wow. Check the one in the baby's room complete with crib. That's just wrong, lol. Haven't seen that since Max Payne.

Here's to Jesper Kyd. May you compose yet another fucking great score.

I've really enjoyed the Hitman series, it has this really intellegent "Deus Ex" vibe to it, where you're let loose in a location and you're given a lot of freedom to choose how to carry out your mission, and you have access to so many different weapons and disguises. And I also like how sometimes, if you get frustrated, you can just go run and gun everyone (though the game encourages you to be a "silent assassin").

I cannot wait for this game. Its one of the only games I'm excited about anymore.

This game is so non-linear.....its not like the splinter cell and metal gear solid bullshit where you are given clear guidelines on what to do....instead the game challenges the player's own smarts to carry out a mission
Note : I like mgs and sc....but i like hitman more!

I hope they include alternate control schemes.

I have Hitman 2 for Xbox and I *know* it's a really good game but I can't play it because they refuse to let you swap analog sticks and I can't play dual analog games in the standard configuration.

It makes me sad that the game is just sitting there and I can't play it.

An aside, I think that might be one of the neat little features of the Revolution's controller with the analog attatchment: just switch hands if you want to go south paw.

Both Mardi Gras AND a suburbia location! This game is gonna rock :)

As someone who really doesn't care for the "sneaker" genre (Splinter Cell, MGS, etc.) I absolutely love this franchise. As many have mentioned the total freedom to tackle the objective however you see fit is incredibly liberating. Seeing an incredibly intricate hit go off without a hitch only to vanish into the shadows for a Silent Assassin rating is one of the most rewarding experiences in gaming, and I'm not the type that normally cares about high scores, unlockables and things of that nature. There's just something about this franchise that encourages you to go for the "cool factor" of a perfect hit.

Hopefully they release a compatibility update for this to run on the 360. I skipped Contracts but I loved the other games. This one looks quite nice.
