Those of you who have been experiencing some unfortunate lag for the past few weeks should be getting some relief. Valve has announced through the official Left 4 Dead blog (http://www.l4d.com/blog/post.php?id=3160) that they've upgraded their infrastructure and added more dedicated servers. The result of this, according to them, is a lag free environment. While I doubt it's completely lag free, I'm sure it'll help.

Now it just needs to drop 30 bucks in price and I'll scoop that shit up.

WOOO!!!! Hey, while the lag can be annoying in L4D/L4D2, because only a fraction of your performance depends on your shooting accuracy, the aspect most affected by lag, it is amazingly playable even with a "red" connection (which is all I ever get being off continent). Similarly, since they gave us the option of choosing client server, or dedicated server, we are never stuck. This is definitely good news, though.

Thanks for the heads-up!

So, let me get this straight. More dedicated servers makes shooters better? Interesting....

sorry
