Eidos has released the First Official Trailer (http://www.eidosinteractive.com/downloads/search.html?gmid=161) for its Upcoming Action Sci-Fi Game, Rogue Trooper.

Nu Earth is a poisoned planet where a seemingly endless war rages between the Norts and Southers; a futile struggle, with no end in sight. Based on the popular sci-fi comic book by 2000AD, Rogue Trooper drops you in the middle of the futuristic, hi-tech battle as you take control of the last survivor of the massacred Genetic Infantryman; one whose allegiance is only to his mission and his mission is revenge. Vastly outnumbered, take on entire platoons with only the aid of your fallen comrades whose souls come alive in your equipment. Today you can take a first look into the action, as the first official trailer is now available for download at Eidos Interactive. Rogue Trooper is set to ship for the PS2, Xbox, and PC this Spring, 2006!

oh man, I loved the old Rogue Trooper strip, and the game on my spectrum years ago. It was great with lots of chatter between your gun, helmet and the bag.

If any series really suits a "you against everyone else" style game, it's this.

Wierd, this trailer was nothing but showing the guy running around killing people in different ways. I suppose the console kiddies will love it.

Wow you almost had me excited until I saw that part...
Then I felt myself get nausiated and want to puke.

This is typical console style CRAP, apparently. Only little snot nosed kids will think THAT is interesting.

Wow, way to not even read the first line of the quote there.

Did you read the part that it's based on a comic? Rogue Trooper was a series from the early 80s that ran in 2000 AD, a great colection of sci-Fi stories that introduced the world to Judge Dredd.

It was quite a snappily written one too, consoles have nothing to do with it.
