On November 26th Bethesda will be releasing six Fallout 3 themed clothing items for your Avatar.


* Vault 101 Suit – 240 MS Points
* Bethesda Game Studios Shirt — 80 MS Points
* Fallout 3 Ringer Shirt – 80 MS Points
* Vault Boy Shirt — 80 MS Points
* Vault Boy Suit — 240 MS Points
* Vault Boy Head — 80 MS Points

I'm boycotting the whole Avatar Marketplace.

All the stuff they have, while it does look cool, I always remind myself that the only place people really see your Avatar in the friends channel. They are far under utilized to be worth it to me.

You know, that's a good point. I only have like 5 friends i even care about on live, and they really aren't impressed. I know they are selling these things tho, cause they keep offering them.

The whole dressing up my avatar like I'm playing dolls is pretty dumb in my mind. Now if I could pick my avatar to be a hot naked lady...I'm in. ;)

Don't forget seeing your friends avatars on 1 vs 100 and the few games that have true avatar support, such as A Kingdom for Keflings. This reminds me, when are we finally getting JoyRide?

I really can't understand why anyone would want to purchase something like this. But I am sure many people do, but they just must have more money than brains (or more than me at least).
Personally I hate the Avatars and their integration into the NXE, it's like MS looked at Sony and at the same time looked at Nintendo and said, lets make a baby out of this. I actually wish I could disable the Avatars completely, it just seems so juvenile to me.
Oh well, just my two cents.

I thought this sort of crap was meant to be unlockable as a reward for achieving stuff in each game.

Did they abandon this idea or is it there and I'm just not noticing it?

The Vault 101 suit is pretty nifty, but I'm not a big enough Fallout fan for this to be appealing.

Why does that picture show supposedly male characters sporting the feminine 'hip throw' stance. Are they supposed to be gay? >_> Doesn't look appealing in any case. Well, the women look good and all.
