Action movie star Vin Diesel is teaming up with major film and game companies to launch The Wheelman movie and videogame.

Diesel, who founded the game production company Tigon Studios in 2002, will be collaborating with Midway, MTV Games, Viacom's MTV Films and Paramount Pictures on the film-game property, The Wheelman.

The action movie, which stars Diesel, revolves around a former wheelman who revisits his expertise to protect a woman who's been tangled up in his past.

"We intend to create a broad–arcing experience, simultaneously developing entertainment properties across a number of mediums, with Vin Diesel right at the center of it all," said Midway CEO David Zucker.

What happend to Spy Hunter the movie? Or is this it?

I thought The Rock was Spy Hunter and they're making some sort of asstacular movie tie-in game for that too. I know Vin thinks he's doing "something special", but really... this type of thing (movie/videogame synergy) happens all the time.

Riddick was good, but it was all StarBreeze, imo.

David Zucker is a real putz. I wish I knew of a way to better convey that to all of you, but you'll just have to trust me. I've heard more than a few of his midway conference calls to the whole company, and it's brutal.

What the fuck does this mean??!

This was one of the worst PRs I have read. There was an entire paragraph detailing all 12 producers attached and what company they were from. i also think this movie will suck.
